What RapClips collects, why, who we share it with, and how to delete it.

Last updated: 2026-10-24

RapClips ("we", "us") runs rapclips.app, a tool that turns a photo into a short singing or rapping video. This policy explains what we collect when you use it. Questions or requests: support@rapclips.app.

What we collect

  1. Photos you upload. Used only to make the video you asked for.
  2. What you type. The song topic, lyrics edits and style you choose.
  3. Videos we make for you, with their lyrics.
  4. Account details if you sign in: name, email address and profile picture from Google or the email you sign up with.
  5. Purchase details. Stripe handles payment. We receive the email you enter at checkout, what you bought, the amount and the payment status. We never see or store your full card number.
  6. Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and the site that sent you to us, used to run the service, prevent abuse and understand which pages help people.

Buying without an account

If you buy without signing in, we create a temporary guest account tied to your browser through a cookie. Your credits and videos live in that account. Sign in on the same browser and they move to your real account. If you clear your cookies before signing in, contact us with the email you used at checkout and we will help.

How we use your information

  • To make your videos: write lyrics, check content, generate the video and show it to you.
  • To check that photos, topics and finished videos follow our rules, so the service is not used for sexual, hateful, violent or deceptive content.
  • To process payments, give credits and refunds, and keep tax and accounting records.
  • To answer support requests and keep the service secure.
  • To improve the site, using aggregated statistics.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.

Who we share it with

We share only what each provider needs to do its job:

  • AI generation and moderation providers (including KIE and SeeAPI, which run models such as Google Veo and Gemini) receive your photo, topic and lyrics to write the song, check the content and make the video.
  • Stripe processes payments and calculates tax.
  • Cloudflare hosts the site and the database.
  • Google if you choose Google sign-in, and Google Analytics if you accept analytics cookies.
  • Email providers to send sign-in and receipt emails.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect people from harm.

How long we keep it

  • Uploaded photos: our AI provider keeps the upload for about 24 hours so the video can be made, then deletes it. We don't keep a separate copy.
  • Videos: stay with our AI provider for a limited time, usually a few days, so you can watch and download them. We don't keep long-term copies, so save the videos you want to keep.
  • Lyrics and video records: kept with your account until you delete it or ask us to remove them.
  • Account and purchase records: for as long as your account exists, and purchase records as long as tax law requires.
  • Technical logs: short-term, usually no more than 30 days.

Cookies

We use cookies that are needed for the site to work: to keep you signed in, hold a guest purchase and remember your choices. Analytics cookies are used only when you allow them, and you can change that any time from Cookie Settings in the footer.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to delete any video, by emailing support@rapclips.app from the address on your account or used at checkout. We reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California) you may have further rights, including objecting to some processing and complaining to your local data protection authority.

Children

RapClips is not meant for children under 13, and accounts and purchases are for adults. Do not upload a photo of a child unless you are their parent or legal guardian.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS and stored with providers that protect it with access controls. No service is perfectly secure; tell us right away if you think your account has been compromised.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Important changes will be shown on the site.
